Salam alaykoum. I'm Yassine Ben-Houcine, founder of Imam AI. A 33-year-old computer engineer and self-employed Belgian-Tunisian, I grew up between the two shores of the Mediterranean — between Belgian rigor and Tunisian warmth, between modernity and the depth of the Zaytouna heritage.
I built Imam AI with a clear mission: to restore traditional Sunni Islam to its rightful place in the face of the modern currents of wahhabism and contemporary salafism. For too many years, I have watched brothers and sisters fall into the trap of a harsh, truncated discourse that distorts the richness of our centuries-old heritage.
Imam AI is grounded in Ash'ari aqida, Sunni tasawwuf and the four schools of jurisprudence. It is the path of Zaytouna, Al-Azhar and Qarawiyyin — the path of the great imams who carried Islam for 14 centuries, not that of modern innovations.
